Hijamah done properly is generally not painful, and many people find it to be a relaxing experience. Those with a lower pain tolerance may experience more discomfort.

A typical Hijamah session ranges from 45-60 minutes, depending on the number of cups and intensity of treatment. Extra time may be allotted for more in-depth consultations beforehand, and rest after.

Please wear loose, comfortable clothing. Make sure the clothing allows me to reach your back, and any other areas you would like cupped such as the legs, feet, etc.
Be aware that the clothing you wear may come in contact with blood and / or olive oil. Dark colors and natural fibers are recommended.
